Lincoln County is our western route, heading toward the South Dakota line. Tyler and Ivanhoe are the main stops, with farm jobs filling in along the way.
Tyler has older neighborhoods where big, long-standing trees came down and left wide stumps with roots running under sidewalks and lawns. Ivanhoe, the county seat, brings civic and church grounds where a clean, flat finish matters.
Out on the farms, it's the same story as much of the region: old windbreaks and groves where the trees are gone but the stumps are still in the way of mowers, fences and equipment.
